Kurma means turtle in Sanskrit. It represents creation, endurance, strength, stability, longevity, and innocence.

The Kurma Mala is a special one to me, sacred really. I took all these pictures with my Ma when I visited back in Minneapolis during the pandemic. The turtles are hand painted on rocks from my aunt. The painting in the background is done by my Mother. The bracelet was handmade by me. This photo is simply the best and it makes my heart melt.
