Day 3 Alignment


Let’s talk about alignment.

In yoga, it’s said that prana, or life force, flows where the energy goes. When we are in alignment, prana can move fluidly within us.

Proper alignment isn’t just for the mat. It should be found in all your actions and will result in dynamic life shifts. For example, I could share with you all my favorite wellness rituals but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll walk away 110% enlightened. It’s gotta be in alignment with your soul and resonate in order to stick like honey.

Today we are going to find alignment in your journaling practice by journaling about journaling. Ha.

Day 2 Journal


Pick one from each category- style, frequency, and accountability. Then write about your WHY. This is your personalized alignment accelerator!

STYLE

>>>Free Write Fiction

Letting yourself drop into a creative flow by writing about anything that comes to mind. This could show up as short stories, fantasies…or writing about your own life but giving yourself and your loved ones ther own fictional character identities.

>>>Free Write Feelings

Letting your emotions run wild. Whatever has been suppressed, is building up inside of you, or whatever arises in the moment…write it all out in detail. Be as specific as you can, without needing to make sense of any of it.

>>>Short 'n Sweet

Maybe you want to keep your journal routine simple + easy to stay consistent with. This may look like creating a few set journal prompts that you can respond to daily + can accomplish in less than 15 minutes.

Frequency

>>>Daily

(Every morning or every evening)

Monday, Wednesday, Friday

>>>Weekly

(Such as Sunday morning reflect + reset)

>>>Monthly

(First day of each month, reflect on the last 30 days + set intention for the next 30 days)

Accountability

>>>Solo Style

You take full responsibility to show up for yourself + carry out the journaling routine that you have set in place.

>>>BFF Style

This is for anyone who knows that they aren’t going to stay consistent long term if they try solo style. Introduce your friend to your journaling routine + ask if they’re willing to join you and be accountability partners.

>>>Social Media Style

Or what I like to call…can’t back out now style (LOL). Essentially if you want high level of accountability, I challenge you to publicly post about your intention for journaling and share exactly what routine you will be sticking to…then post screenshots (or some creative IG stories) of your journal entries every time. As a result of choosing social media style, you’ll naturally be inspiring others with your consistent action.

WHY

With all things habit related, it is always helpful to have a deep understanding of why this actually matters to you.

Why do you stand for this?

Why is it essential that you engage in this new habit?

What’s at stake if you don’t?

What will your life look like 6 months from now if you are consistent?

And what would it look like if you don’t stick to it?
